During this activity, you'll learn the basics of paddling, steering, and maneuvering your kayak on the gentle and picturesque waters of Lake Bentonville.
LAKE BENTONVILLE
Located at Osage Park - a wetland park - Lake Bentonville’s relaxing waters are part of a unique ecosystem perfect for active wildlife including beavers, otters, and birds. In addition to kayaking, you can also enjoy Osage Park’s stunning ammenities including state-of-the-art pickleball courts, walking trails and food trucks. The natural beauty of Osage Park makes it easy to forget you’re in the heart of Bentonville, less than two miles from the original Walton 5 & 10.
KAYAKING BASICS
This kayaking adventure is perfect for a range of skillsets, including beginners. We’ll cover the basics such as safety and stroke techniques while getting familiar with your kayak before embarking on your guided experience at Lake Bentonville.
WHAT TO BRING
Your equipment and PFDs will be provided for you, but we recommend you bring water, snacks, sunscreen, and a towel - a small dry bag is best for keeping your personal items safe while kayaking.
WHAT TO WEAR
Swimwear, athletic clothing, a hat and/or sunglasses, water shoes or sandals.
