Questions about cancelations, refunds, wait lists, and more answered here

  • All trips require registration and payment in advance. To ensure your spot, we recommend booking at least two weeks ahead. If space allows, we gladly accept last-minute reservations, even the day before the trip. Just email us at explore@37northexpeditions.com.

  • Upon completing your registration and payment, you will receive an immediate receipt. You can always check the specific trip details on our website, but you will receive additional communication the week of your event with a reminder of itinerary information.

    If you registered for an adventure and DID NOT receive an email confirmation, check your spam folder for an email from explore@37northexpeditions.com. If you do not see an email confirmation in your spam folder or inbox, please contact us.

  • If you want to drive yourself, most trips offer that option with a $7 discount. Please email explore@37northexpeditions.com if you opt to drive yourself.

  • If an adventure is sold out, you can email explore@37northexpeditions.com to request placement on the adventure’s wait list. When a spot opens up we immediately reach out to our wait list customers first before posting the opening online and/or social media. The waitlist is “first come, first serve” basis.

  • Check the age requirement for each specific trip. While there are some trips that are kid friendly, all minors need to be accompanied by an adult.

  • Tipping is not automatically included in the cost of our adventures. While it is not required, it is a wonderful gesture to show appreciation to your guide if you enjoyed your experience.

Refunds & Cancellations

Weather Conditions

37 North reserves the right to determine if an adventure needs to be cancelled/altered for any reason. Light rain will not affect the schedule of your trip, though you will need to come prepared with rain gear and/or equipment. If there is inclement weather on the day of your trip, your guide may alter the itinerary to avoid any dangerous conditions. If your trip is cancelled due to weather, trail, road or river conditions, you will have the option to reschedule, transfer to another trip, or receive a full refund in the form of future trip credit.

21 Days Prior

A 100% refund minus 5% handling fee will be given for cancellations made 21 days prior to the scheduled trip 

14 Days Prior

A 100% trip credit will be given for cancellations made 14 days prior to the scheduled trip

7 Days Prior

50% trip credit will be given for cancellations made 7 days prior to the scheduled trip

Within 7 Days

No refund or trip credit will be given for any cancellation less than 7 days before the scheduled trip

Inclement Weather

If a trip is canceled due to inclement weather or environmental conditions not optimal for the booked activity, 100% trip credit will be given
