  • We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced adventure guide to assist and lead groups on exciting outdoor activities including hiking, biking (gravel, MTB, and greenway) kayaking, and stand-up paddle boarding. The ideal candidate should have a passion for the outdoors, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to provide a safe and enjoyable experience for our clients.

    Note: This job is seasonal (est. Apr-Oct).. Guides must be available to work weekends. Weekdays worked are negotiable with weekend availability.

    Key Competencies:

    • Experience leading outdoor adventure activities

    • Excellent communication and leadership skills

    • Ability to work independently and in a team environment

    • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make quick decisions under pressure

    • Ability to adapt, respond, and reallocate resources in a changing environment

    • Ability to participate in outdoor activities for extended periods

    • Proficient in biking and bike mechanics

    • Proficient in paddling sports with the ability to guide clients on class II water

    • Candidates will have to pass a background check.

    • Preferred: CPR and/or First Aid Certification

    Core Responsibilities:

    • Execute outdoor adventure activities for clients of all ages and skill levels

    • Follow safety protocols and procedures to ensure participant safety

    • Provide guidance and leadership to clients, including teaching necessary skills and techniques

    • Assist in maintenance and upkeep of equipment used during activities

    • Provide excellent customer service

    • Communicate effectively with clients to ensure needs are met and questions are answered

    • Actively participate in ongoing training and development to enhance skills and knowledge

    • Drive a 12-15 passenger van and sometimes pull an equipment trailer

    • Assist with customer service and rental shifts when events aren’t booked

  • Job Summary:

    We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized full-time Logistics Manager to join our team for Spring-Fall 2025. As a Logistics Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth and efficient operations for our outdoor expeditions and activities. Your primary responsibility will be to coordinate and oversee a majority of the logistics aspects of our outdoor events, ensuring that equipment and supplies are appropriately managed and delivered to the right locations at the right time.

    Note: Time expectations can vary depending on ability/interest to guide events alongside equipment management. Full time is an option with additional guiding responsibilities.

    Core Responsibilities:

    • Coordinate logistics for outdoor expeditions: Collaborate with internal teams to determine the logistical requirements for each expedition, including equipment, supplies, and transportation

    • Procurement and inventory management: Source, purchase, and manage inventory of equipment, gear, and supplies required for outdoor activities. Maintain accurate records of inventory levels and ensure timely replenishment. Inventory management will need to be done digitally in our reservation software system.

    • Equipment Maintenance: Clean and maintain equipment as needed

    • Vendor management: Establish and maintain relationships with third party vendors

    • Team coordination: Collaborate with internal team to coordinate logistics, ensuring seamless communication and efficient resource allocation.

    • Provide recommendations for process improvements.

    • Communicate effectively with clients to ensure their need are met and their questions are answered (via phone call/email)

    • Drive a 12-15 passenger van and pull an equipment trailer

    • Ability to guide activities weekly
