Early Spring in the Ozarks is the best time of year to visit our area’s spectacular waterfalls. The water will be flowing as we first stop at Glory Hole. The Glory Hole is one of the most unique waterfalls in the Ozarks. The waterfall is formed by a stream that flows through the ceiling of an overhang cave. After experiencing the Glory Hole, we will head to our second waterfall, Kings River Falls. This easy hike is an Ozarks hidden gem. The rocks on the side create a perfect resting spot with relaxing sounds of flowing water.

This hiking expedition in the Ozark National Forest is a great trail for beginners seeking a moderate challenge. The Glory Hole Waterfall trail is a 2mi out and back route with an 410ft elevation gain and may pose a challenge to those with unsure footing as we approach the waterfall. However, the views are just as spectacular for those who need to stick with an overview. After completing the first trail, we will head to Kings River Falls trail, which is 1.8mi with almost no elevation gain, making for an easy and smooth walk.
